The Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 places a duty on specified bodies, including educational facilities, to have “due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism”.

UK Govt and Ofsted common inspection framework state that educational facilities, such as schools, need to provide appropriate training for staff involved in the implementation of Prevent Duty.  

This course will provide you with a clear and concise overview of The Prevent Duty. You will look at radicalisation and extremism in the UK, learn how to spot individuals who may be at risk of radicalisation and what to do to support them.
